2023 Lessons
Session Info
Aqua Fun Backyard Swim School offers private and semi-private swimming lessons in our private pool in Aurora. We teach Lifesaving Society Preschool lessons, Lifesaving Society lessons (Levels 1-6), and Stroke Improvement lessons.
Each session consists of 8 lessons running Monday to Thursday over a two-week period. Rain days are made up on the Friday of either week.
All lessons are 30 minutes and start on the :00 and :30 of each hour. Note: 60-minute lessons may be available upon request.
Session 1 - After school time slots: 3:30 - 6:30pm.
Sessions 2, 3, 4 & 5 time slots: 8:30am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 6:30pm.
We keep our pool at 90 degrees to help ensure a comfortable and smooth transition into the pool for our swimmers!
Session Dates
Session 1: June 17th – June 27th
Session 2: July 2nd – July 11th
Session 3: July 15th – July 25th
Session 4*: July 29th – August 9th
Session 5: August 12th – August 22nd
* Note: Session 2 will run from Tuesday - Friday the 1st week due to Canada Day and Session 4 will run from Tuesday - Friday the second week due to the civic holiday
Pricing

Swimming Lessons - $315/session; each session includes 8 private 30-minute lessons

Semi-Private Swimming Lessons - $255/session per swimmer; each session includes 8 private 30-minute lessons

Stroke Improvement Classes - $50/lesson when sold outside of a standard $315/session package

Lifeguarding - $75/hour for private parties and events
Inclement Weather
Classes will continue to run in light to medium rain, but will be cancelled and rescheduled if there is any sign of thunder or lightening.
Please note that missed lessons cannot be made up except for inclement weather.
